Cutting Red Tape…it's important!

On January 13, 2011, the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, and the Honourable Rob Moore, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism), announced the creation of the Red Tape Reduction Commission and the start of consultations on ways to reduce the burden of complying with federal regulatory requirements.

• Canadians and Canadian businesses are invited to provide input to the Commission and help the Government identify irritants and lasting ways to fix them. To send your feedback online, click on "Tell the Commission What You Think".
  
• The Commission will also be holding round table meetings across the country to hear from Canadian businesses.
